In this list you can find all operating systems with full automated installation process for dedicated servers. These OS are all "Out-of-the-Box" - installations and ready to run without any further basic configuration.

All installations provide basic server installation including pre-configured software RAID (if selected), configuration of main-IPv4 and Admin/Root-access via SSH (Windows: RDP) and Webpanel (if selected). List of Operating Systems for dedicated Servers

Key legend:

• 64Bit:
  Shows you if 64Bit hardware is supported by operating system.
  
  
• Bus:
  Shows you harddisk bus type support. Older types like "PATA" are deprecated. Most OS support all bus types i.e. SATA, SAS, SCSI.
  
  
• Software-Raid:
  Shows you OS-build in RAID-level. This RAID-level becomes installed out of the box without any further configuration needs by customer. Minimum of two harddisks are required for RAID.
  
  
• Status:
  Shows you EUserv's internal status of development. This means not the stability of the OS-release itself but if OS is ready to install on all physical hardware without problems.
  
  - stable: stable installations on all servers possible
  - testing: stable installations on all actual server series possible
  - beta: stable installations only on selected hardware possible (please ask our support)
  
  
• Livesystem:
  This means, our system boots a diskless system, removes all existing data on all existing harddrives without installing any system on the harddrives. This is the ideal environment to install your own OS.

Please note:

• For Windows Server operating system additional licence costs apply per CPU. Customers need to manage this license by theirself. Servers with harddisk capacity of >2TB have issues with partitioning. Please read the full EUserv Wiki article.
  
  Windows is only support at following server series:
  - Prime64 v4-6
  - Pro64 v4
  - Instant64 v4
  
  
• VMware ESXi < version 5.5 does support servers with up to 32GB RAM only,
  VMware ESXi starting with version 5.5 does support more than 32GB RAM
  
  
• XENserver and VMware ESXi are supported for following server - series:
  - Prime64 v4 or later
  - Pro64 v4 or later
  - Pro64 Flex or later
  - Filer Giga v3 or later
  - Filer Pro v1 or later
  - Filer L v4 or later
  
  VMware 6 is only supported for following server series:
  - Prime64 v5 or later
  - Pro64 v5
  - Filer Pro v1
  
  Installations on other server platforms (i.e. Misurfi- or Instant64-Series or other hardware platforms without ECC RAM) is restricted by EUservs installation system or at your own risk. (self managed, no support nor guarantee of usablility)
  
  
• *BSD operating system is not fully compatible with all new server platforms (missing drivers). Please ask our support before installing this OS on your server.
